At least most of them worked well enough for me to create something.
The one I think has the best application for my classroom is the Treading Card Maker. It has more room for text than any of the others I tried. I can see many uses for Trading Cards. Actually, I have already used them in my class. We did a Famous Texan biography unit, and used the card maker to create fact cards for the people we researched. It was great for summarizing main or important ideas. The students were called on to synthesize their learning by creating a nickname for their character that truly fit.
Most of the of the other generators would be fun for publishing writing pieces, creating visual aides for oral presentations, or inserting text signposts into a self-written piece of nonfiction.

These are fun and your 4th graders loved making their Texas Hero trading card as I remember. You have some great ideas for other possibilites!
